SADM last changed hands in 2005 and the new management decided to renovate the factory to international standards. Changes included expansion of activities to increase manufacturing capacity, introduction of new emerging essential drugs and increasing our range of products. SADM is currently undergoing massive restructuring of our manufacturing facility. New machinery and equipment is being installed to increase, update and modernize our manufacturing abilities. The laboratory facility is considered the most important department of the pharmaceuticals’ industry. Along with various production department machines, our Quality Assurance / Quality Control laboratory is being upgraded by procuring cutting edge equipment. This includes HPLC, Dissolution Test Apparatus, UV and IR Spectrophotometers to name but a few. A second phase expansion project has also been scheduled and will include a liquid and semi-solid dosage facility, as well as ARV production.
